IBPS PO Eligibility:

Candidates who are interested in Probationary Officer Posts should posses / fulfill certain qualifications which are discussed below.

1. Nationality:

Applicant must be any of the below in order to be eligible for Probationary Officer / Management Trainee posts, which are:

• an Indian Citizen
• a subject of Bhutan or Nepal
• a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962
• a PIO who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam

2. Age Limit:

The candidates age limits as on 01.08.2023 must be minimum of 20 years and maximum of  30 years.

Age Relaxation:

However candidates are eligible for relaxation in upper age limit for certain categories.

3. Educational Qualification:

Candidates applying for the posts must have following educational qualification as on 21.08.2023

• Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute.

IBPS PO Application Fee:

Candidates need to pay a non refundable application fee for IBPS PO Exam 2023 as per their category as mentioned below:

• SC / ST / PwBD Candidates: Rs.175/-
• Other Candidates: Rs.850/-
• Payment Mode: Online

Note: Application fee paid for IBPS PO Exam is non-refundable, so candidates need to carefully check their eligibility before applying online.

IBPS PO Selection Process:

Candidates for Probationary Officer / Management Trainee post will be selected through following steps.

1. Online Prelims Examination
2. Online Mains Examination
3. Interview
4. Final Result
5. Provisional Allotment

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2023:

IBPS will conduct Probationary Officer Online Examination in two stages which are Preliminary and Main Exam. Candidates can see the latest IBPS Probationary Officer Exam Pattern released by the board along with the official notification below.

Preliminary Exam Pattern:

Candidates will undergo Online Prelims Exam based on below pattern. Aspirants will have to qualify in each of the tests by securing minimum cut-off marks.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the Online Mains Examination based on the Cut-Off marks as decided by IBPS.

• Go to CRP PO/MT -> Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officer / Management Trainee XIII
• Click on “Apply Online under Common Recruitment Process”
• Click on New Registration
• Register with valid email-id, mobile number and other details
• Upload scan copies of photograph and signature
• Fill the Online Application form with correct details
• Pay the application fee and submit the online application form
• Take printout of the application form for reference
