MOIL Recruitment 2023: Foreman, Mate, Supervisor Vacancies

MOIL formerly known as Manganese Ore India Limited has released MOIL Recruitment 2023 Notification for filling up of various vacancies. The company has actually released a detailed notification regarding this on 13th May 2023. MOIL recruits eligible candidates for Electrical Supervisor, Mine Mate, Mine Foreman, Mechanical Plant Foreman and Winding Engine Driver posts. There are a total of 21 vacancies, the company has announced in its advertisement. MOIL Recruitment 2023 Overview:

MOIL is a company which is India’s largest Manganese ore producer. Moreover it is operating eleven mines which are spread across two Indian states of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The company is now inviting application from candidates who are eligible for posts like Foreman, Mate, Supervisor and Winding Engine Driver. MOIL Vacancy Details:

The vacancies announced by the company are tentative. In addition, MOIL reserves the right to increase, decrease or cancel any vacancies at the discretion of the company. Because the number of vacancies are solely depend on the requirements. So applicants should be aware of these things while applying for the posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

MOIL has issued some minimum eligibility criteria the candidates should possess so that they can be considered for selection. Those are including educational qualifications, prior work experience and age limit. The eligibility criteria mentioned are as on 3rd June 2023 which is the last date for the receipt of the online application form.

1. Qualification:

Mine Foreman:

• should be at least Secondary School Certificate pass.
• should posses valid Mine Foreman’s unrestricted Certificate of Competency.

Select Grade Mine Foreman:

• should posses diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying

Mine Mate:

• should be at least Secondary School Certificate pass.
• should posses valid Mine Mate unrestricted Certificate of Competency.

Electrical Supervisor:

• should be a Diploma holder in Electrical Engineering from Govt. recognized institution.
• should hold a valid Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency
• the above certificate should cover mining installation issued under Central Electricity Authority Regulations, 2010.

Mechanical Plant Foreman:

• should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Winding Engine Driver:

• should be a pass in SSC
• should hold Certificate of Competency with first class in Winding Engine Drivers.

2. Age Limit:

The maximum age of candidates applying for any of the posts should not exceed 40 years except for the candidates applying for Select Grade Mine Foreman post for whom the maximum age shall be up to 45 years. MOIL also allows age relaxations as per Government guidelines.

3. Experience:

• Mine Foreman: at least 6 years of experience after getting Mine Foreman’s Certificate of Competency.
• Select Grade Mine Foreman: should have minimum of 2 years of experience, Freshers shall also apply who will be inducted as a Trainee for a period of 2 years.
• Mine Mate: should have worked as a Mine mate in a reputed Mining company for a minimum of 3 years.
• Electrical Supervisor: should have 3 years of work experience in Public or private limited company in India in Electrical field. The experience shall preferably in mining industry. Freshers shall also apply and they will be inducted as Trainee for 2 years of initial period.
• Mechanical Plant Foreman: candidates must have 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Winding Engine Driver: candidates should have 3 years of work experience as Winding Engine Driver. The experience should have been gained after getting 2nd class Winding Engine Driver certificate of competency.

Pay Scale:

Candidates after final selection are eligible for scale of pay based on the posts as below table shows.

Selection Process:

MOIL conducts the recruitment as a step by step process as mentioned below.

• Computer based Online Test (all candidates except for those applying for Winding Engine Driver posts)
• Trade Test (only for candidates applying for Winding Engine Driver posts)
• Document Verification
• Pre-employment medical examination
