Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who are interested to apply for any of the above posts need to go through the below criteria to find out whether they are eligible for the post.
1. Qualification:
NTPC requires the candidate to be a Member of ICSI – Institute of Company Secretaries of India, for all the three posts.
2. Experience:
NTPC requires the candidates to possess below experience based on the post they opt for.
General Manager:
- Minimum 23 years of post qualification experience in company Secretarial Compliances in Govt / Private / Public Sector Company.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in reputed large scale company.
- Possess thorough knowledge of matters pertaining to Institutional Finance, Company Law, Corporate and Secretarial functions.
- Well versed with the provisions and regulations of Company Act and SEBI rules and regulations.
- Experience of handling Board matters such as organizing of Board meetings, presentation of Board memoranda/agendas.
- Good administrative and liaising skills.
- A legal degree will be an added advantage.
Deputy General Manager:
- Minimum 14 years of post qualification experience in company Secretarial Compliances in Govt / Private / Public Sector Company.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in reputed large scale company.
- Possess thorough knowledge of matters pertaining to Institutional Finance, Company Law, Corporate and Secretarial functions.
- Well versed with the provisions and regulations of Company Act and SEBI rules and regulations.
- Experience of handling Board matters such as organizing of Board meetings, presentation of Board memoranda/agendas.
- Good administrative and liaising skills.
- A legal degree will be an added advantage.
Assistant Officer:
- Minimum 1 year post qualification experience in company Secretarial Compliances (excluding training period).
3. Age Limit:
- General Manager: 55 years
- Deputy General Manager: 47 years
- Assistant Officer: 30 years
Pay Scale:
- General Manager: Rs.1,20,000 – Rs.2,80,000
- Deputy General Manager: Rs.1,00,000 – Rs.2,60,000
- Assistant Officer: Rs.30,000 – Rs.1,20,000
