RRC Central Railway Apprentice Eligibility 2023:
The Apprentice have to fulfill below eligibility criteria so that they can apply online for Central Railway Apprentice posts.
1. Age Limit:
The candidates who want to apply for the apprenticeship must have a minimum of 15 years of age and a maximum of 24 years of age as on 29.08.2023 which is the start date of online application.
The Aspirants shall be eligible for age relaxations as per their category given below:
Age Relaxation Upper Age limit:
- For SC/ST : 5 Years
- For OBC : 3 Years
- The eligible Date of Birth range is 29.08.1994 to 29.08.2008.
2. Educational Qualification:
Aspirants should have below mandatory educational qualification as on 28.08.2023 which is the date of notification.
- 10th class (Matric) examination passed or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks from a recognised board.
- National Trade Certificate / ITI in relevant trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training.
Application Fee:
Aspirants applying for the post are required to pay an application fee based on their category as below. This is a non refundable fee, so candidates are required to make sure they are eligible before applying for the apprentice posts.
- SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates: No need to pay the application fee
- All other candidates need to pay a non refundable application fee of Rs.100/-

Salary Details:
- Applicants are eligible for stipend Rs.7000/- per month for One Year.
- During the second year there shall be an increase of 10 percent in stipend amount.
- And for third year there shall be an increase of 15 percent in stipend amount.
