SSC CHSL Notification 2024 is released by Staff Selection Commission on 8th April 2024. SSC conducts Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) Examination every year. In accordance with that the commission has released the SSC CHSL 2024 Notification for recruiting candidates for various services. So interested candidates can apply online in the SSC official website at ssc.nic.in based on eligibility criteria.
SSC CHSL Notification 2024 Overview:
The Staff Selection Commission holds a competitive exam for the recruitment of candidates to the Group C posts. The recruits will be posted in various Ministries or Departments or Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional bodies. The Group C posts are Lower Division Clerk or Junior Secretariat Assistant and Data Entry Operators. So aspirants can apply online from 08.04.2024 to 07.05.2024. SSC CHSL Pay Scale:
Candidates selected for Group C posts are eligible for below Scale of Pay based on the post.
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) – Pay Level-2 (Rs.19,900-63,200)
- Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5 (Rs.29,200-92,300)
- Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100)
Eligibility Criteria:
The Applicants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria as directed by the commission.
1. Nationality:
Candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal / Bhutan or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
2. Age Limit:
The applicants age should be between the below limits as per their category as on 01.08.2024.
The lower age limit for all categories is 18 Years. The upper age limit for candidates are as follows.,

3. Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess below essential educational qualification as on 01.08.2024.
- LDC / JSA and DEO / DEO Grade ‘A’: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
- Data Entry Operator (DEO) / DEO Grade ‘A’ in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Ministry of Culture: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

- Log on to SSC official website at ssc.gov.in.
- Login with your Registration No. and Password.
- Click on Register Now and fill all the details and register yourself in the portal, if you are a new user.
- Go to Apply – CHSL and click on “Apply” link at the bottom.
- Fill the application form properly with complete details.
- Upload scan copy of Signature and Photograph.
- Pay the application fee and Submit the application form.
- Take printout of the application form for future reference.
