SSC JE Eligibility 2023:
Candidates applying for SSC Junior Engineer 2023 Exam need to fulfill below eligibility criteria as mentioned by Staff Selection Commission.
1. Age Limit:
Staff Selection Commission requires candidates applying for Junior Engineer vacancies to be under certain age limits as on 01.08.2023 as mentioned below:

2. Educational Qualification:
The candidates applying for the Junior Engineer post must posses Diploma or Degree in Engineering from a recognized institute in respective disciplines as per the post as on 16.08.2023 which is supposedly the last date of the online application.
SSC JE Selection Process 2023:
Candidates for the post of Junior Engineer will be selected in below steps which are:
- Computer Based Test (CBT – Paper I)
- Computer Based Test (CBT – Paper II)
SSC JE Exam Date 2023:
Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC JE Paper-1 Exam which is a Computer Based Examination in the month of October tentatively. From unofficial sources it is learnt that the Commission shall conduct the Paper-1 CBT from 09.10.2023 to 11.10.2023. The SSC Junior Engineer Exam 2023 Paper-2 date will be released by the Commission subsequently.
SSC JE Admit Card 2023:
The Commission shall release the SSC JE Admit Card 2023 in its official website @www.ssc.nic.in before one week or 10 days before the date of Paper-1 Computer Based Examination. SSC JE Exam Pattern 2023:
SSC JE Exam 2023 conducted for selecting candidates for Junior Engineer post will be of two stages viz Paper I and Paper II. The mode of both Paper I and Paper II will be Computer Based Examination. The pattern of the JE Exam are as follow:

SSC JE Syllabus – Paper I:
The Paper I of SSC JE Exam consists of 3 subjects which are General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, General Engineering. The syllabus for those subjects are given below.
General Intelligence & Reasoning:
The Syllabus for General Intelligence will have questions from both Verbal and Non-verbal reasoning. The test will also have questions from analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series. Candidate’s ability on abstract ideas, symbols and their relationships, arithmetical computations and analytics will also be tested through this subject.
General Awareness:
The Syllabus for General Awareness will have questions that test the knowledge of candidates on current affairs, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity and Scientific Research related to India.
General Engineering:
This section will have three parts viz Part A, Part B and Part C where candidates will have to undergo test from any one of the three parts based on their discipline like Civil/Structural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
