SUCB Manager, Clerk Vacancy Detail:
The Shimla Urban Cooperative bank is intend to fill 04 vacancies of Clerk and Managers. The vacancies are however tentative and the bank can change the final number of vacancies at the time of selection depends on the requirement. Note: The 01 vacancy for Manager Grade-I is for General or Unreserved category. The 03 vacancies for Clerk Grade-IV will be divided between General or Unreserved(UR) and Scheduled Cast (SC) categories as 02 and 01 vacancies respectively.
Eligibility Criteria:

1. Essential Qualification:
Manager Grade-I:
- Candidates must have at least a second class degree from recognized university with minimum of 55% marks in discipline of Commerce, Banking or Economics.
- Applicants should have minimum of 7 years of experience in Cooperative or Commercial Banks in Executive or Managerial bandwidth.
- Candidates with CAIIB will be given preference.
Clerk Grade-IV:
Candidates should have passed matriculation with a minimum of 55% of marks or higher secondary with minimum of 50% of marks or equivalent. Aspirants graduated from a recognized university are also eligible. The candidates who are from Scheduled Caste SC or Scheduled Tribes ST or Integral Rural Development Program IRDP backgrounds or Antyodaya family will be eligible for a 5% of concession in the aggregate marks.
2. Age Limit:
The candidates applying for the posts should have completed 18 years of age and the age of the candidates should not exceed 45 years as on 01.01.2023. An age relaxation of 5 years shall be given to candidates from SC / ST / PWD / PH / OBC / Ward of Freedom fighter categories and Candidates in Government services. For getting relaxation under Government services category the candidate should be serving in the H.P. Government.
Pay Scale:
The bank will pay the candidates selected finally for the advertised posts in the scale as mentioned below.
- Manager Grade-I: The candidates will be posted on regular basis with Rs.15,600/- – Rs.39,100/- plus Rs.6,000/- Grade Pay in a Pay Band which is a pre-revised one.
- Clerk Grade-II: The posting will be purely on Contract basis with Rs.10,000/- as fixed monthly emoluments for an initial period of one year. In case the contract of the candidate is extended, the contract emoluments will be increased at a rate of 3% annually.
Application Fee:
The bank has fixed an application fee for candidates applying for Clerk and Manager Vacancies. The candidate can apply for both the posts if they wish to, by paying application fee and submitting online application forms separately. This is a non-refundable fee, therefore applicants are advised to make sure they are completely eligible for the posts.
Manager:
- General / Unreserved (The vacancy is only for Gen/UR): Rs.2000/-
Clerk:
- General / Other Categories except SC: Rs.1500/-
- SC Category: Rs.1000/-
