Defence Research and Development Organization invites application from eligible Indian Citizens for Junior Research Fellow JRF. It has announced DRDO JRF Walk-in-Interview 2023 notification for Defence Research and Development Establishment (DRDE). DRDO has released the notification on 4th May 2023 for 10 fellowship vacancies. So interested candidates can check the eligibility and attend the Walk-in-Interview accordingly.
DRDO JRF Walk-in-Interview 2023:
Defence Research and Development Establishment (DRDE) in Gwalior is a premier institute of DRDO. It requests meritorious and young Indian Nationals who desire to pursue defence related research as Junior Research Fellow (JRF). DRDE conducts Walk in Interview for the same. Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should possess First Class M.Sc. in relevant discipline.
- Should have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) / any Test approved by National Agency or GATE.
Stipend / Salary (Monthly):
The candidates selected as Junior Research Fellows JRF’s will get Rs.31,000/- with HRA as per DRDO and National Agency’s research fellowship rules.
Age Limit:
Candidates age should not exceed as mentioned below based on category as on the date of the interview.
- General – 28 years
- OBC – 31 years
- SC/ST – 33 years
JRF Tenure:
DRDO accepts candidates for the fellowship for a maximum of 5 years. Initially they will work as JRF for first two years. DRDO will assess their satisfactory performance as per rules and they will be upgraded as SRF for the remaining years.
Interview Details:
Reporting Time: 09:30 hrs on the date of interview.
Venue: DRDE, Jhansi Road, Gwalior – 474002.
Note:
- Written test my be conducted from 1100 hrs to 1200 and only the qualified candidates will be interviewed on the same day.
- In case of large number of candidates, interview can be carried on to the next day as well.

- Fill the application form in the required format in word and excel files.

- One set of self attested copies of degree / mark sheets / experience certificates etc.,
