DVC Junior Engineer Pay Scale:
Selected candidates will be eligible for a Scale of Pay of Rs.35,400/- to 1,12,400/- in Pay Matrix Level 6 as per 7th Pay Revision.
Eligibility Criteria for DVC JE Recruitment:
Candidates who wish to work for Damodar Valley Corporation as Junior Engineers need to satisfy the below eligibility criteria in order to apply for the posts.
1. Age Limit:
Aspirants age shall not exceed the below limit as on closing date of online application.
- 28 Years for UR candidates.
- 31 Years for OBC (NCL) candidates.
- 33 Years for SC/ST candidates.
- 38 Years for PwBD candidates.
- No Upper Age Limit for DVC Departmental candidates.
2. Educational Qualification:
Aspirants need to possess following educational qualifications depending on the post they apply for.
a) JE Gr.II (Mech):
- Three years full time Diploma in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized College or Institute approved by AICTE.
- Minimum 65% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates.
- Minimum 60% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
b) JE Gr.II (Elec):
- Three years full time Diploma in Engineering or Technology in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized College or Institute approved by AICTE.
- Minimum 65% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates.
- Minimum 60% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
c) JE (C&I):
- Three years full time Diploma in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Telecommunications or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized College or Institute approved by AICTE.
- Minimum 65% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates.
- Minimum 60% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
d) JE (CiviI):
- Three years full time Diploma in Engineering or Technology in Civil Engineering from a recognized College or Institute approved by AICTE.
- Minimum 65% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates.
- Minimum 60% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
e) JE (Comm):
- Three years full time Diploma in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Telecommunications or Telecommunication Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized College or Institute approved by AICTE.
- Minimum 65% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates.
- Minimum 60% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Note: Higher technical qualification including B.Tech., BE, M.Tech., ME etc. with or without Diploma is not allowed. Also qualification acquired through distance mode will not be considered.
Selection Process for DVC Junior Engineers 2023:
The candidates applying for the Junior Engineer vacancies will have to undergo the following selection process which are,

- Go to Career -> Recruitment -> Recruitment Notices
- Click on “Click here to apply” on the corresponding column.
- Click on “New Registration” and fill the required details.
- Give valid Email id and mobile number and Click on “Send OTP”.
- Enter the OTP received in your mobile no. and click “Save & Next”
- Complete the application form.
- Upload Signature and Photograph.
- Make the payment and submit the application form.
