IBPS RRB Notification 2023: 8,612 Officer, Office Assistant Posts

IBPS RRB Notification 2023 is released by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the RRB Exam 2023. IBPS recruits candidates for various positions through Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for the Regional Rural Bank (RRBs). The Institute has released a detailed notification on 1st June 2023 regarding the RRB Exam for the year 2023. IBPS has announced Officers Scale-I, II & III and Office Assistants for Multipurpose vacancies through this advertisement. So candidates who are interested shall check the criteria of eligibility mentioned by IBPS and apply online. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has also announced the RRB Exam Date 2023 in the notification.

IBPS RRB Notification 2023 Overview:

The IBPS RRB Exam 2023 will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for Common Selection Process for the recruitment of Group ‘A’ Officers (Scale I, II & III) and Group ‘B’ Office Assistants (Multipurpose). IBPS Office Assistant & Officer Vacancy Details 2023:

IBPS has announced a total of 8612 vacancies of Group ‘A’ Officers and Group ‘B’ Office Assistants posts in Region Rural Banks. Below is a summary of vacancies of Office Assistants (Multipurpose) and Officers (Scale I, II & III).

IBPS RRB Exam Date 2023:

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released tentative Dates of events in the official notification including IBPS RRB Exam Date 2023. So candidates can check below table to know the dates of various events.

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who wish to apply for Common Recruitment Process of IBPS need to fulfill certain conditions. The candidates need to be Indian Citizens to be eligible for the posts. Apart from citizenship candidates need to satisfy criteria like age lime, education qualification etc.,

1. Age Limit:

Aspirants applying for the Office Assistants or Officers posts need to satisfy the age limits as on 01.06.2023 as mentioned below.

Age Relaxation: Candidates are also eligible for age relaxations in their upper age limits based on the categories they belong to which are as follow:

• OBC (Non Creamy Layer): 3 years
• SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen(Officer Posts)/1984 riots victims: 5 years
• Widows / Divorced Women: 7 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen(Office Assistant Posts): period of service rendered in defence forces + 3 years

2. Educational Qualification:

Candidates need to posses below mentioned educational qualification based on different posts they apply for as on 21.06.2023 which is the last date of online application registration.

a. Office Assistant:

• Candidates should posses Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized board or University.
• Need to have proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRBs.
• Need to posses working knowledge of Computer.

b. Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager):

• Candidates should posses Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized board or University.
• Candidates with degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy will be preferred.
• Need to have proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRBs.
• Need to posses working knowledge of Computer.

c. Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager):

• Candidates should posses Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized board or University with a minimum of 50% of marks aggregate.
• Candidates with degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy will have preference.
• Candidates should have two years of experience as an officer in a Financial Institution or Bank.

d. Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager):

Information Technology Officer: Candidates should have bachelor degree in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology or its equivalent from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% of marks aggregate. Applicant should also have one year of relevant experience.

Chartered Accountant: Candidates should be Certified Associates (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with one year of experience as Chartered Accountant.

Law Officer: Candidates should have degree in Law or its equivalent from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Applicant should also have two years of experience as Advocate or Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions.

Treasury Manager: Candidate should be a Chartered Accountant or hold a degree in MBA in Finance from a recognized university or institution with one year of relevant working experience.

Marketing Officer: Candidate should hold a degree in MBA in Marketing from a recognized university or institution with one year of relevant working experience.

Agricultural Officer: Candidates should posses a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with two years of relevant experience.

e. Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager):

• Candidates should posses Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized board or University with a minimum of 50% of marks aggregate.
• Candidates with degree or diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy will be preferred.
• Applicants must have a Minimum 5 years of experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions.

Candidates applying for the posts need to pay an application fee as below based on their categories.

• SC/ST/PWBD/EXSM Candidates: Rs.175/-
• All Other Candidates: Rs.850/-

• Upload scan copies of your recent photograph and signature.
• Fill the complete details in the Online Application form correctly.
