Eligibility Criteria:
The eligibility criteria for applying to the IDBI Junior Assistant Manager through PGDBF 2024-25 program include the following:
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should be graduates from any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India. Proficiency in computers and regional language is preferred.
Age Limit:
As of January 31, 2024, the minimum age is 20 years, and the maximum age is 25 years. There is relaxation in the maximum age for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen as per Government guidelines.
Nationality:
The applicant must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from specific countries with the intention of permanently settling in India. A certificate of eligibility is necessary for certain categories.
Reservation:
Reservations for SC, ST, OBC, PWD, and EWS candidates will be applicable as per the rules or guidelines of the Government of India.

IDBI Junior Assistant Manager Emoluments:
- Upon successful completion of the PGDBF course, candidates will be absorbed into IDBI Bank as Junior Assistant Managers (Grade ‘O’).
- During the training period of 6 months, candidates will receive a stipend of Rs.5,000 per month, and during the 2-month internship period, the stipend will be Rs.15,000 per month.
- After the completion of the 8-month training and internship, candidates will undergo an On Job Training (OJT) for an initial period of 4 months at any of the Bank’s branches/offices as per the requirement.
- Upon joining the Bank’s services as Junior Assistant Managers and subject to successful completion of the PGDBF course, the compensation (CTC) would range between Rs.6.14 lakh to Rs.6.50 lakh (Class A city) at the time of joining.
- Additionally, Grade “O” officers will be eligible for TA/HA, local conveyance, subsidized lunch facility, and visiting officer facility in line with facilities/limits applicable to Grade ‘A’ officers of the Bank. However, other allowances, performance-linked variable pay, staff loans, perquisites, benefits, and other facilities applicable to other full-time employees of the Bank shall not be admissible.
Selection Process:
- The selection process for the IDBI PGDBF program comprises an Online Test followed by a personal interview.
- The online test is objective in nature and consists of sections such as Logical Reasoning, Data Analysis & Interpretation, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General/Economy/Banking Awareness. The test duration is 2 hours, and there is a penalty for wrong answers.
- Candidates successful in the online test will undergo personal interview, which will consist of 100 marks. The final selection is based on a formula that combines the online test score and the interview score.
- Candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks in the interview and be found medically fit by the Bank’s Medical Officer.
