Indian Bank has released notification for Joining Formalities of Probationary Officers allotted by IBPS under PO/MT CRP-XII. The Bank has published a detailed notification dated 10th May 2023 on its official website in this regard. The notification contains the procedure which will assist the selected candidates for joining the Indian Bank with ease. Therefore the Bank advises the selected candidates to go through the notification pdf.
Indian Bank PO Allotted by IBPS 2023:
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for selecting candidates for various public sector banks including Indian Bank. The candidates selected through this process will be appointed as Probationary Officers / Management Trainee. Pursuant to this, IBPS has conducted PO/MT CRP-XII this year and selected candidates. IBPS has also allotted the candidates for respective banks. So Indian Bank has now released the procedure to make the joining of candidates a straightforward affair.
Probationary Officers – Joining Formalities:
The Indian Bank joining procedure consists of two stages which are
- Pre-joining document verification on 18.05.2023 at Indian Bank’s Staff Training College.
- Joining & Induction Training on or after 29.05.2023 (tentative) at Staff Training College.
So Indian Bank advises the candidates allotted to them for the post of Probationary Officer by IBPS to report at the allotted venue on specified date at 9:30 a.m. On that day, the candidates will undergo Document verification, Photography / IRIS / Biometric verification and other applicable formalities. When a candidate completes the pre-joining document verification satisfactorily, he/she will receive the offer of appointment from the Indian Bank for Joining & Induction.
Note: If a provisionally selected candidate fails to appear for the Pre-joining document verification process at the allotted venue on 18.05.2023, the Bank will presume that the candidate is not interested in joining the services of Indian Bank. Therefore their candidature will be cancelled from the provision list permanently. The bank will not entertain any further correspondence in this regard.

Document Verification:
On the day of pre-joining document verification candidates need to carry the following original documents along with a set of self-attested photocopies of the certificate / document.
- Intimation letter duly signed by the candidate as unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions laid down therein.
- Fee receipt and printout of the online application submitted to IBPS, e-mail communication(s), final scorecard published by IBPS, copy of SMS intimating about your allotment to the Bank.
- Call letters of Online Examination (Preliminary & Main) and Interview duly signed with photograph pasted on it.
