RRC Western Railway Apprentice Eligibility 2023:
The candidates need to fulfill below eligibility criteria so that they can apply online for Western Railway Apprentice posts.
1. Age Limit:
The aspirants who want to apply for the apprenticeship must have a minimum of 15 years of age and a maximum of 24 years of age as on 26.07.2023 which is the last date of online application form submission.
The candidates shall be eligible for age relaxations as per their category as below:
The candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC / PWD / ESM categories are eligible for relaxation in upper age limits as follows:
- OBC Category: 3 years
- SC/ST Category: 5 years
- PWD/Ex-Servicemen: 10 years
2. Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have below mandatory educational qualification as on 21.06.2023 which is the date of notification.
- Applicants should have completed Matriculation or Class 10th with minimum of 50% aggregate of marks from a recognized board.
- Applicants must have ITI Certificate in relevant trade for which they are applying for the apprenticeship from recognized board affiliated to SCVT/NCVT.
Application Fee:
Candidates applying for the post are required to pay an application fee based on their category as below. This is a non refundable fee, so candidates are required to make sure they are eligible before applying for the apprentice posts.
- SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates: No need to pay the application fee
- All other candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs.100/-
- Mode of Payment: Online

- Log on to RRC, Western Railway Official website at www.rrc-wr.com
- Click on “Notification No. RRC/WR/01/2023 Dated 21/06/2023 for Engagement of Apprentices” tab in the home page
- Click on Apply Online link (available on 27.06.2023)
- Register with valid email id and mobile no.
- Fill the online application form with correct information
- Enter the 12 digit Aadhar No. correctly
- Pay the application fee and submit the online application form
- Take print out of the application form for future reference
